International Relations

The Music Program of the Department of Arts has established a number of fruitful collaborations with various academic institutions in Europe. Specifically, there are existing bilateral agreements with the Conservatorio di Musica “L. Refice”, the Conservatorio di Musica “S. Giacomantonio” in Cosenza, the Conservatorio di Musica in Perugia and the Conservatorio di Musica in Adria. Additionally, there are also bilateral agreements with Tallinn University and the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in Estonia, the University of Music and Art in Vienna, the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, the University of Malta and the University of Salford and the University of Hull in the UK.These bilateral agreements have led to successful applications for financial support from various EU programs (Gruntvig and Erasmus IP), as well as the establishment of a series of lectures, master classes and performances at EUC by faculty from the above institutions. Similarly, members of EUC’s music faculty have conducted workshops, seminars and concerts at a number of these institutions as well. It is the goal of the music program and the department in general to expand the range of bilateral agreements and engage in more EU projects and artistic and educational activities.
